2a. Addicts, Witches, and Those Dang Ole Gays!

Welcome back to Safe White Space!

This 2x series is going to cover Donald Howard’s flagrant, vicious homophobia. We are going to get through this as concisely as possible; there isn’t a whole lot for me to say, relative to how many Exhibits there are in this series.

Keep in mind that what back drops all of these Exhibits is that, as you read this, millions of children are learning Donald’s Christian Nationalism in 140 countries.

If flagrant homophobia is triggering, go forth with caution.

For those this warning pertains to, this post contains just three Exhibits. Consider them as sort of a litmus test as the following installments get progressively more intense. They are the only three noteworthy times that Donald mentions “homosexuals” in his first two manifestos (the second being published in 1979). The point being, by 1988, he is claiming to have “documentary proof,” (he doesn’t) that lesbians are recruiting children in schools, and openly calling for the euthanasia of AIDS victims. The escalation is stark.

Let’s get into it:

Students in the class had interviewed an alcoholic, a drug addict, and had seen an X-rated movie…

…This is not an isolated case; it is an illustration of a trend in high schools and junior high schools all over America. You ask, “Oh, you mean they are bringing criminals into the classrooms?” Mother and Dad, they are bringing all kinds of drug, dope, and narcotic addicts, witches, and homosexuals.

One anecdotal story of one class is definitively not “an illustration of a trend.”

What a fucking loser.

It kills me that people like Donald posture as if they’re smarter than the whole American Medical Association. Like, go on, explain to me in specific and scientific terms how homosexuality or dressing in drag is a mental illness. I mean it when I say I’ll wait.

He goes on to reiterate that “permissiveness” and “tolerance” are how nations die:

Pastors are now marrying gay couples, and homosexuals are organized for purposes of lobbying for their cause. In Pennsylvania in 1972, the State Supreme Court upheld the ruling that a homosexual had the right to be certified to teach. The ruling stated that as long as his practice did not interfere with his teaching they could not refuse his certification. Do you want a homosexual teaching your children? This is an illustration of humanistic thinking.

Have you ever wondered how Sodom and Gomorrah fell? Maybe it went this way. Maybe they tolerated a philosophy of humanism and became extremely permissive. Maybe they tolerated indecencies in the name of affluency, and because of a growing apathy they permitted the disease of humanism and philosophies of evolution to infiltrate the education processes, and then in the name of academic freedom they permitted perversion and the slow but progressive degeneration of the next generation.

Their “cause” is basic human rights. And again with the illustrations.

How do you prevent the death of a nation? You withhold basic human rights from the LGBT+ community. You do like King David, when “he ran off all the liberals and really cleaned up the nation.” You do like Pinochet and have “the character to jail the Communists.” [Exhibits 6, 28]

Fun Fact: “Affluency” is an illness that is only caught by wealthy socialists. Socialists always fall for the devil’s trap of… wealth, I guess. On the other hand, wealthy Christians are blessed by God for being such good stewards of his work. Your Christian wealth is really just a measure of your righteousness, while liberal wealth is reserved for those most corrupted by the devil.

Hey, I don’t make the rules. I just report on this dystopia and survive.

What this post can be boiled down to is: Even if Donald couldn’t find fault in an LGBT+ persons teaching ability, it’s their mere existence that is the problem.

To anyone who’s ideal America excludes “homosexuals,” fuck you. Meet me on the playground, after school. Bring all your stupid friends, too.
